	Song Ren graduated from Fine Arts Academy of East China in 1954. She continued to study in oil painting at Central Academy of Fine Arts until she joined its faculty in 1956. She later transfers to China National Academy of Art and has remained as a faculty till now. Her paintings were shown all over the world, and she

have traveled and lectured in United States, Canada, Japan,France, Italy and others. She has also won numerous prizes. She currently a member of China Artists' Association and professor of oil painting at China National Academy of Art.
