Graduated
from the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Arts Institute, he
is good at landscape painting and research on the Chinese
painting history and theory. His works were often found in
various painting exhibitions at home and abroad. He was invited
to give lectures at Kansas and Williams universities and to
hold one-man exhibitions in the USA. His paintings and articles
were often found in the specialize publications at home and
abroad. His treatise include "the Outlines Technique of the
landscape Paintings", "Dunhuang Arts", "The Techniques of
Southern landscape Paintings", "Talks on Landscape paintings",
"the Chinese Traditional paintings", "Natural and Smooth",
"the Artistic conception Creation and painting Technique in
the Landscape Paintings", "Wang Ke Wen's Album of Paintings",
etc. He was a member of the editorial board for "the Appreciation
Dictionary of the outstanding paintings", and one of its writers
and revisers. He is now a professor of Shanghai Theater Academy,
vice-chairman of Shanghai Art Education Society and Society
of Huang Bin Hong Research, and a specially invited fellow
of China Arts Research Institute. His biography was included
in "the Painters Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Traditional
painting" and "The Brief Biographies of Professors in shanghai
High Education". He began to enjoy the government 's special
allowance bestowed by the State council as "a specialist with
outstanding contributions" in the culture fields.
