Graduated from the Yunnan Art Institute(BA) in 1981. In 1985, he completed postgraduate studies at the Central Academy of Fine Art sited in Beijing. He is now the professor of Fine Art Department of Yunnan Art Institute, head leader of the Yunnan Province Education Committee of oil painting, member of the committee of Yunnan Art Institute, director of the Educational research of oil painting, member of oil painting committee-Yunnan Branch of China Artist Association.
