Yanpeng Li graduated from the Prints Department of Central Fine Arts Academy in 1981. He is now a professional artist of Hebei Arts Academy, first-class artist, director of Chinese Print Artists' Association, and vice-president of Hebei Artists' Association.

His works had participated in many home and abroad art exhibitions. He was awarded "excellent work" in the Eighth China Art Exhibition, and other awards in the Ninth, Thirteenth, and the Fourteenth China Prints Exhibition. Several pieces were collected by Shengzheng Art Gallery, Jianshu Art Gallery, and many other museums and organizations in the USA, Europe and Korea.
