Artist Profile:

Renyu Chen (born 1943; Hubei, China)

Member of China Artists' Association, vice chairman of China Stone Sculpture Research Society, director of the Environmental Art Creation Research Section of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, the state grade-1 artist, and committee member of the Fresco Art Committee under Hubei Artists' Association.

Major Works and Exhibitions:
1986	Created Concerto of the New Century
1987	Chosen as the art supervisor of Shenzheng "Chinese Land of Splendor" project
1989	Received a bronze prize for Concerto of the New Century at the 7th NAE and a silver prize at the 7th Hubei Art Exhibition
1994-96	In charge of the project of inscribing names of the world famous Chinese artists on the rocks along the Tree Gorges and finished 138 piece and published a large album
1998	Impression of Hongkong shown at the art exhibition for celebrating the First anniversary of Hongkong coming home and owned by the Ministry of Culture
