I have always loved art and have been particularly drawn to Chinese art. My background is quite unartistic as I am a registered nurse , also holding a degree in accounting. I had an opportunity to take Chinese brush painting classes several years ago and loved it. It brings me a feeling of peace and tranquility . When I found out about Mr. Yu giving classes on Chinese caligraphy I was quite excited as I felt that this was something that my paintings lacked. I am enjoying this experience so much and have already incorporated caligraphy into my paintings. I also now appreciate what a high art form caligraphy is.
